General Information:

Ready-to-print water based screen printing ink for natural fabric, fabric consisting of mostly natural material such as TK, TC, polyester and etc., and un-coated paper.

It gives film-like texture once printed on fabric or paper

 

Mesh Guidelines:

Can be used with any mesh between 36-120
100 mesh is recommended

 

Stencil/Emulsion Guidelines:

We recommend using S.K. Violet or Blue Emulsion followed by coating your emulsion after with S.K. Emulsion Hardener.

 

Mixing info:

Can be mixed with other S.K. Rubber Inks

 

Printing Instructions:

  1. Pure generous amount of S.K. Rubber Ink on one side of your screen, and make sure that the ink is loaded in straight line covering width of unexposed area.
  2. Push and pull squeegee stroke are both suitable for S.K. Rubber Ink.

2.1 Start stroking your squeegee to another side of your screen with some pushing-down force applied.

2.2 (1)In case of continuous printing, make sure that ink is scraped off excess ink from unexposed area of screen to prevent screen from premature clogging, and wet printed surface.

(2)In case of discontinuous printing, make sure that your screen is flooded with ink to prevent clogging and during wait time.

*S.K. Rubber Ink can be printed with other S.K. Plastisol Ink, and S.K. Transparent Ink

 

 

Flashing/Drying Instructions:

For flashing, set your preferred temperature according to your printed material’s heat durability.

For drying, normal hair drier would yield preferable results.

*Industrial drier or hot gun are not recommended.

*Curing is needed after printed ink is dry to touch.

Heat pressing at 180°C(356°F) for 10 seconds is recommended after flashing or drying to achieve smooth surface and ultimate curing.

 

Printing on an under base:

Can be printed on all of other S.K.’s ink products.

Printing as under base on dark material before printing other rubber inks is recommended.

 

Curing Instructions:

Printed fabric should be cured for a minimum of 60 seconds at 180°C(356°F).

Ideally, printed fabric should be cured for on a and half minutes at 150-170°C(302°F-338°F).

 

Testing/Precautions:

Stretching and washing test printed material after printing are recommend to ensure the most preferable result.

 

Clean Up:

Use water to wash the ink off immediately after finish using.

Or, use S.K. Stencil Remover to remove some clog or dry ink in case there are some clogs and dries by soaking cotton cloth into S.K. Stencil Remover and using the cotton cloth to gently wipe the clogged area on screen. *Apply more wiping force in case of harder clogging.

 

Storage info:

Tightly close container(s). Keep in cool or room temperature, 25°C(77°F).
